Carlisle Inn Sarasota

The hotels staff are all impeccable. They cannot do enough for all the customers. The whole place runs like clockwork and is spotlessly clean, so many little things like china plates for the soap, sturdy bathroom fittings. All furnishings are good quality The all day coffee was good and the afternoon cookies are a nice touch as are the cakes at breakfast from the bakery next door. The Amish feel of the place was quirky and informative, I loved the patchwork hangings and pictures. The music that’s played all the time at first I thought was calming, we were there five days and after day three we were laughing about the repetitiveness of it it must drive the staff crazy. Breakfast was good with real cutlery! The pool and area around was amazing The hotel was a great hub for us as we wanted the beach, golf and to explore a bit. We loved nearby Siesta Beach and the university park golf course. Having spent a month travelling through several states and staying in various nice places, I can say this hotel is head and shoulders above them all. Sort the music and I would say it’s perfect.

Everything was perfect. The staff are so helpful and courteous. The breakfast is excellent. The room was exceptionally clean. It was actually my birthday the day we arrived at the hotel, so without my knowledge, my husband spoke to the manager to let her know. We then went to spend some time by the pool and when we returned to our room they had left some balloons, cupcakes and a note. It made me feel so special and shows what a wonderful place the Carlisle Inn is to stay We have been coming to the hotel since the year it opened and return almost every year as we love it so much!!!

Extremely friendly staff, each and every housekeeper we passed spoke to us, whether it was good morning or hello, or have a good day, each one said something. The front desk staff were super nice and very helpful. Every person we saw at that desk smiled at us and spoke to us at least 1 time. The property was extremely clean and fancy, inside and out. Its kindve "country" fancy, if that makes sense.....i'm from Tennessee, so thats how I feel like it could be explained. Seems to have history, even the large framed photos on the walls were of large communities coming together and constructing very large buildings. The breakfast was one of the best we've ever had at a hotel. I do believe this is the nicest hotel we've ever stayed in, and we've stayed in a lot.....we come to Anna Maria Island every year and stay on Bean Pointe, but we usually stay in Sarasota or somewhere outside of AMI the night before we're supposed to be at AMI.....this will be our place to stay from this point on....we won't go anywhere else. Last, but notnleast....THE PRICE!!!! Taxes and fees all included was less than $200, and I would expect WAYYYYY more than that. So the value was amazing as well. *just a few things to note: *Rooms are VERY big, with high ceilings (we had a standard queen). *breakfast was great, never had baked oatmeal 😁 *hospitality was PERFECT!! *EVERYTHING inside and out was clean. *lots of parking space

I can't say enough about the staff... So very pleasant and polite. Always greeted you with the smile always ask if you were well if everything in your room was satisfactory if you needed anything they went above and beyond during our whole stay. The rooms were fully equipped and very clean. Breakfast was wonderful, a lot of options. One of the staff members even did a walk-through to make sure that we weren't leaving anything behind before we checked out. It was a very pleasant experience and a wonderful stay I would highly recommend the Carlisle inn.

The property was beautiful. Just as the reviews stated prior to my visit. Very clean, very friendly staff, and close to everything that we wanted to visit. Our room was the nicest by far of all the others that we stayed in on our way down and back to New York. The free breakfasts were great as was the restaurant on the property. We will be staying there again next year.
